ANTI- ERODING STEEL SHEETS WITH WELDING TUNGSTEN CARBIDE PIECES
It is used in all those productive processes that are under high levels of abrasion, impact and erosion. It is applied in the mining industry where it is necessary to move high volumes of materials for loading, unloading and transporting.
It is made of a base material Steel SAE 1010 that gives hardness, covered by sintered tungsten carbide planks of 4mm width, which gives resistance to the impact and abrasion, stuck to the steel base by a hard braze procedure in a furnace under controlled atmosphere.
It is an alloy made of Cu-Ni-Zn and the addition of tungsten carbide of different sizes for uses that need high abrasion, impact or eroding. It is used for the hardening surfaces.
Matrix hardness: 160HB
Tungsten carbide hardness: >1500HV 10
Coating: all the measures are available with or without flux coating.
Sintered tungsten carbide fragments and electrocast cemented carbide
Sintered tungsten carbide fragments: these are tungsten and cobalt carbide fragments as alloys according to their size.
Electrocast carbide: it is made of tungsten carbide with half of the normal amount of carbon to generate an extra hardness especially designed for these uses.
Both products are used for the hardening of surfaces that require high resistance levels to abrasion, impact and eroding.
